The EVELIXIA project continues to gain international visibility by contributing to global discussions on the future of energy systems. In December 2025, EVELIXIA was showcased at the IEEE International Conference on Energy Technologies for Future Grids (ETFG2025), held at the University of Wollongong, Australia.

The project was represented by Prof. Dan Micu from EVELIXIA partner Technical University of Cluj‑Napoca (TUCN), who participated on behalf of the Energy Transition Research Center (EnTReC). Organised by the ARC Future Grids Training Centre, the conference brought together over 400 researchers, industry experts, and policymakers from more than 60 countries, all focused on advancing clean, reliable, and resilient energy systems.
During the event, EVELIXIA was presented as a concrete example of how innovative research can support Europe’s path towards climate neutrality. The presentation highlighted the project’s progress and results, illustrating how EVELIXIA contributes to the evolution of future energy grids through advanced energy management, flexibility, and digital solutions.

Being part of a distinguished programme of keynote speakers and expert sessions, EVELIXIA’s contribution sparked valuable discussions on the role of buildings, digitalisation, and integrated energy technologies in shaping next‑generation power systems. The conference provided an important platform to exchange ideas, receive international feedback, and strengthen links with the global research and innovation community.
EVELIXIA’s presence at IEEE ETFG2025 confirms the project’s growing impact beyond Europe and its relevance within the international energy transition landscape.
