We are pleased to share that the EVELIXIA Project has been featured in an article published on Enlit.World, a leading platform for the global energy community. The article, written by Elisa Crocco from RINA-C, offers a detailed look at EVELIXIA’s mission to reshape the role of buildings in the European energy landscape.

In the piece, EVELIXIA is presented as part of a new paradigm where buildings are no longer seen as passive energy consumers, but rather as active utility nodes—intelligent, flexible, and sustainable entities that are fully integrated with the energy grid. This transformation is central to Europe’s broader goals of decarbonisation, resilience, and smart energy management.

The article outlines the core components of the project, including the development of smart readiness assessment tools, energy flexibility strategies, and solutions that place building users at the center of the energy system. EVELIXIA’s work is helping to demonstrate how buildings can adapt to real-time energy demands, support grid stability, and contribute to environmental goals.

We are proud to see the project’s vision and progress highlighted on such an influential platform, and we look forward to continuing to share insights as we move toward a smarter, more sustainable built environment.
